What does this site collect?

Almost nothing. This is a plain website with no chat widget, no login and no account to create.

It has one form, which appears on three pages, and what you type into it is described below. Beyond that, the only personal information we hold is whatever you send us when we reply to you, plus the ordinary server records every website keeps in order to serve pages at all. Two analytics tools measure how the pages are used, and both are named further down with what each one records.

This page describes the site as it stands today. If that changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the bottom moves.

The form Three pages of this site, the home page, the how we start page and the contact page, carry the same short form. It asks your business name and website, the area you work in, what you are hoping to fix, roughly what you spend on marketing now, and an email address to reply to. It is sent to us by email and a copy is written to a file on our own server, so that a submission cannot be lost silently if the mail fails. There is no account and no login attached to it. The two analytics tools named below run on the form pages as they do on every page, but Clarity masking blanks what you type before it leaves your browser, and nothing you enter is passed to either tool. What you send us Your name, email address, business details and anything else you write to us, including replies once we are talking. We keep it so we can reply to you and, if we work together, so we have a record of what was agreed. You chose to send it
Cookies Four, all set by the two analytics tools named in the next row, all first party. Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_K8ZKTN5VLD. Clarity sets _clck and _clsk. They exist to tell one visit from another and to keep a single visit from being counted as several. There are no advertising cookies, no remarketing pixels and nothing that follows you to another website. If you would rather not be counted, blocking cookies for this site in your browser stops both tools, and the site works exactly the same without them. Analytics only, no ads
Analytics Two tools, both added 16 September 2026, both used to fix this site and nothing else. Google Analytics 4 counts visits and shows us which pages get read and which get closed. It does not store your IP address: it reads the address to work out a rough location, then discards it, and we have not turned on anything that would hand the data to an advertising product. Microsoft Clarity records a replay of the visit, the scrolling and the clicks, so that we can see where our own form loses people instead of guessing. Clarity is set to Balanced masking, which blanks out text and images in your browser before anything is sent, so what you type into the form does not appear in the replay. Server logs The web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP address, timestamp, the page requested and the browser string. They exist for security and fault finding, they are not joined to anything else, and they age out. Ordinary hosting records
Fonts Typefaces are served from this site itself rather than a font network, so your browser makes no request to Google or anyone else to fetch them. Self-hosted, no third party

What happens to what you send?

We use it to answer you, and to run the work if you become a client. That is the whole list.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, trade or share it with data brokers, list builders or advertising networks. We do not add you to a newsletter or a marketing sequence because we do not run one. If you send the form and we never speak again, nothing happens to your address at all.

Email is handled by ordinary business email and hosting providers, which means those providers necessarily process the message in order to deliver and store it. That is the same set of providers any business email passes through.

If we are ever legally required to hand something over, we will comply, and we will tell you unless we are forbidden from telling you.

How do you get it deleted?

Ask through the form. You do not need a reason, a legal citation or a particular form of words.

Send the form using the address you want removed, and say it is a privacy request. If you no longer have that address, tell us which one it was.

Scope

We delete the correspondence and any contact details we hold for you, and confirm in writing when it is done. We aim to complete it within 30 days and usually much sooner.

What we cannot delete

Records we are required to keep, such as signed contracts and invoices for tax purposes, and copies already inside backups until those backups age out on their normal schedule.

You can also ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you plainly rather than sending you a data export you have to decode. Depending on where you live you may have additional statutory rights over your personal information, and we will honour a request under those laws the same way we would honour a plain request.

Who is responsible for this?

Vander Els Partners LLC. There is no privacy department and no ticket queue. Questions about this page come to the same inbox as everything else.
